We have the 2013 3100RL also. Only got out once before the snow flew here in Colo. but no problems so far.
We love the floorplan too.

If your question is specifically about the 3100RL then yes. There is a sliding door between the Bedroom and the bathroom
so you can access the bathroom with the bedroom door closed. Not sure...
