I see you live out East. If you never drove west of the Rockies in the summer time, you would not have an overheating problem!!

The 2004 Allison was still a 5 speed. Also, stay away from the 2004 (and a half) duramax. They made it for 1 1/2 years. It had an overheating problem. No big deal if you drive where temps are...
