I have put a backflow check valve at the connection going into the flush. Should I feel safe with that?

Black Tank Flush

If I use a Y connector for our freshwater and black tank flush, is there a chance there could be a backflow from the black tank flush that could contaminate the freshwater side of the Y connector?
