Just my guess based on what you said. Surge protector behind the rear panel lower left side looking from the rear. Pretty easy fix. If I remember correctly about $60.00

Actuall it sprays the fuel in the cylinder on the exhaust stroke. It does cause fuel dilution in the oil but doesn't seem to hurt anything as long as you change the oil regular.

With IS you do eliminate spring hangers, but you have the same stresses on tires, wheels, bearings, and spindles. You do eliminate the weakest link in the equation though.

Two separate problems. Fuze for the manual switch is blown. The start and stop is the circuit breaker that powers the landing gear is weak.
