I don't remember the brand but our 2955rl had an oder I couldn't get rid of. It turned out that the toilet was cracked so I replaced it, no more odor.

I'm pulling with an F-250. I've changed the fluid every 30,000 miles. So far no problems at 110,000. Transmissions are expensive, It's my opinion that changing the fluid is cheap insurance.

Mine was a broken hose from the pump to the ram. You can have a heavier hydraulic hose made up if that's what it is. Buy some hydraulic fluid so you can bleed the air out of the line.
