Mine is the B & W Patriot non-slider and no it doesn't take up too much of the bed. I no longer have a need for a slider with the redesign of the front caps a few years ago.

Have you considered using 3/4" or 1" flexible tubing? Should be able to get it at any Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, etc. It is normally clear and thin walled.

Thanks, but we had one with our 2012 and used it quite often and only changed the battery 2-3 times in 6 years. I have located a remote on Amazon that should control the awning and the under-awning...

Awning remote?

We just traded for a 2018 3791RD non-Legacy Montana and after 2 weeks in it full time the ONLY thing I am missing over the 2012 Montana is a remote to extend/retract the main awning from the outside...
