I have a 40' Montana 5er. I farted around with a few different generators, a Yamaha 3000, then a pair or Ryobi 2200s that I could parallel. I even had an extended run tank that was plumbed to them....

I run my rig with a Honda EU7000is....which is the direct replacement for the EU6500is.) The main difference is the 7000 has fuel injection instead of carb.) I have no problem starting and running...
