We noticed the credit card thing too. My 'work around' was to go in first and give them my fuel card so they would turn on the pump.

My truck (3 years newer than yours) has a large opening for the larger nozzles. Can you make yours larger - or buy the newer piece that goes between the filler opening and the hose it connects to?
