Sadly, Lippert instructions specify 3/4 screws every six inches for the awning rail installation. I could understand if the screws were going into the wall stud for strength, but that wasn’t the case...

Good point, we need to ride a folding bike first. With our budget, I cannot find one with any kind of shock absorber suspension. But, I like the fat tires for off road and sand. Thanks PRNDL.
