How far away has your Montana been from the nest?

I've not been posting much since moving to Japan but had to post this as perhaps the Montana farthest away from Goshen, Indiana. I figure it is about 9500 miles from the factory.

Extended storage

Well folks, the military has caught up to us and we'll have to move out of our Monty and place her in extended storage for at least 2 years as we move to Japan.

I do have 2 ducts in the front living area, maybe previous editions did not. Air does flow to these ducts but not all that strong. Obviously, heat rises and the front living is the highest...

Well, we did it. We've traded "Wheel Estate III" for "Wheel Estate IV", a 2012 3750FL with all the bells and whistles. Can't hardly wait to try the 6 point auto leveling system on our first trip...

Sensors are as accurate as my truck's mileage computer. If you really need working sensors keep some liquid fabric softener at the ready. Calgon water softener also works.

Same here. One cold day I hooked up the RV and the Companion's piston broke off. These guys sent a new one no questions asked about the age of the unit, etc. Great hitch from a great company.
