Will a 50 amp Surge Protector provide adequate surge protection when hooked up to a 30 amp service? I know it can be hooked up with a reducer/ 50 amp to 30 amp dog bone to shore power but...

yes Jeff, that's just the Montana rating, so with all the extras it will probably go over the 3/4 Tons rating
