The vent screens are kind of dry rotted especially the one in the bathroom. Local guy had one left in stock and said they were no longer available. Does anyone know where to get them yet? I can post...

What fuse powers the 5th wheel off your truck?
It sent power to the 5th wheel receptacle. I am pretty sure I learned about it here. I have a 2008 Silverado for my Montana. I had a 2004 Silverado and someone told me about it and I stuck the fuse...

Adding the front AC. Which vent did they use?
I was pretty sure I was going to use the most forward vent as I was assuming that was what the factory would have done. I looked around here for pics but came up empty. Eithef directly above rear of...

As you said the breaker wouldn't protect the smaller unit if it's a 15 or 20 amps. Splitting the 230 volts back to a 115 volt line would be fine. I already bought a subpanel and there's room above...

It's a small Maytag stackable, front loader and the dryer is listed as 230 volts. Since it wasn't really an RV made dryer I'm quite sure they wouldn't be lying on the model number tag. I pulled the...

Made it down to look at my Montana's AC wiring..
I dropped the shroud cover in the bedroom and didn't find any wiring to any add on AC. I do have a washer and dryer outlet so I'm thinking of putting a box with a pigtail to siphon off 115 volts off...

As far as I know, at least on the Chevrolet Silverado that is, there is a 40 amp fuse devoted to charging the RV that is separate from the travel lights. On mine it was not there so I had to pay a...

Being an actual air conditioner repairman/installer it would be hard for me to be worried enough about doing it to consult a dealer. I would just have to figure out a way to get the wiring up there....
