We drove the parkway last year but I totally agree with Mainer. Drop the Monty and enjoy the ride. We stayed at Shanendoah, Lenoir, and Brevard and took day-trips from those points.

We bought the slide-out stabilizers, used them once, never again. Now I use them under the frame like bncinwv uses the jack stands. Works great.

Both went out on our 2003. One in Louisiana the other near Sand Point Idaho. The one in Idaho cost twice as much to replace. Was told it's common in these trucks, no recall in sight.

I don't see braking as a problem. Torque to the rear wheel of the TV may be a problem. I don,t see any dust coming from the wheels.
