Connecting 30amp and 15amp recepticals to 50 RV

Dieselguy, you might try what’s called a DOGBONE adapter.
It allows you to plug into a 30amp receptical and a 15amp on a 30amp power pedestal then your 50amp cord plugs into the adapter. It works....

Just a thought, if you keep the legs wet with hydraulic fluid, it more readily collects dust while setting at a camp site.
With that thought, I wipe off the legs with a lint free damp (water)...

The problem seems to be within the surge protector. Sounds like due to the buzzing sound, the contacts simply are not fully closing, or in other words the contacts closing mechanism is hanging up....

I too had this problem and would like to share what I did to correct it.
In my 3400RL, our water flow was so bad, (when we purchased it), I removed the restrictor, it was better but still very poor....
