My friend & neighbor who has a Montana strongly suggests that I have an exhaust brake installed on my Ford 350, diesel dually. Is this a necessary expense & does it really save on brake wear?

Thanks for the advice. We will certainly make sure that our dealer gives us a crash course in operating the rig.

We plan a big trip in early November, soon after picking up the 5th wheel....
