Torque wheels on 3720 RL
I am trying to learn about torquing my wheels . The manual does not tell me the stud size ,but the size of the stub determines the FT Lbs you apply.I know this is simple for a lot of campers but not for me. Thanks for any help.Jerome and Judy.

I've always torqued mine to 120# but I have IS and I believe larger studs. I also used 120# on the new rig, however, before IS was installed.

Here's a chart from Etrailer:

If your rig is stock, it came with 7,000 lb Dexter axles and the studs are 1/2" which require 120 ft lbs of torque on the lug nuts.

The reference below is the 2019 generic Keystone owner's manual. Some wheel torque info is on pager 24 & 25.

I could not find anything that spelled out which studs my new Montana High Country had--16" wheels, aluminum, but 1/2" or 9/16" studs? The difference is 120 ft-lbs or 160 ft-lbs, with damage if too much is used, and the wheel can fall off if too little. So, I used my torque wrench to pull off a lug nut, and guess what? It had "1/2" engraved on the side! Question answered...1/2" = 120 ft-lbs.
