    Hello Newbie Here,
I have a Montana 3854BR 2019. I lived in it for a while and pretty much never had a problem. Its been parked and have had my shore line plugged into 120V. Over the winter, battery went dead. I replaced it as it was not able to hold a charge. Recently bought a Westinghouse 9000 W generator and now am having issues getting power to the inside. The generator is external, has a 50 AMP breaker and receptacle and when plugged into it there is no AC power inside the RV. Let it sit over night and today the microwave and fireplace lights were on, Plugged the started the generator and plugged into and again no AC power. I do have 12V power, but no AC power. No silly question, do I have to have the power switch in the on position to get AC power into the RV? Thank you in advance.

    Steven D.
