- Born and raised in West Texas. AND PROUD OF IT, PARDNER!! At 26, I might still be a young-un, but I FIRMLY believe the world could use a bit more gool 'ol Southern Hospitality like they have in The Great Sweetwater.TX. Ever heard of the anual Rattlesnake Roundup? Biggest one 'round is in Sweetwater. Very kinly folks.
I Started in the RV business about 6 months ago at Cleburne RV Service Center (I'm not going to badmouth a business, but I don't recommend going there...), worked there for almost three months when I got the Tech job with Fun Time, and I have been busy busy since! Being from a family full of carpenters, plumbers, and electrical folks, I just just "fell" into the business. Going to college for two and a half years for electronics, hyrdaulics, and pneumatics helped out, too, because almost every one of you RV owners know that at least HALF of all RV problems are electrical-related. (That generator that kicks off when you're runnin' a pair of cold-air pumpin' duo-therms at once?? "I Fix 'dat." And that noisy slide-out? I don't make those "BIG BUCKS" by crawling under that thing with a can of WD-40... (Don't take me wrong-- the stuff is a better invention than Cheeze Whiz, but it does NOT belong on slideout gears and rollers!)
As for why I am signing up for membership on this site-- I might not own a Montana, YET. But I have a goal of getting one. BEAUTIFUL land-yachts, mobile dream-homes they are. And maybe by signing up here I can help enough people keep their dreams "dreamy" Good fortune may befall me in the future. Besides-- I have RV's in my head all day at work, they don't just dissappear when the clock hits 6:00!
